SAN FRANCISCO, CA—April 8, 2008—Today, PC World and Macworld announced the appointment of Jessica
Lilie as VP, Strategic Intelligence, a newly created position. In this role, Lilie will lead PC World and Macworld’s
market research efforts by leveraging both brands’ online and offline platforms in new and exciting ways for
technology marketers. She is charged with building upon the success of the organization by helping to gain
insight on how best to connect with technology buyers in today’s rapidly changing media landscape.

Macworld. “She brings with her a wealth of media and technology market research experience. Her knowledge of
the media industry will play a key role helping drive the strategies and tactics of PC World and Macworld going
forward.”
Previously, Lilie served as VP, Consumer Insights and Market Intelligence at BabyCenter, the largest and most
respected online resource for new and expecting parents. During her tenure, she played a significant role in
developing research and insights practices. Prior to that she served as Sales Development Director and
Associate VP, Business Intelligence at CNET. She also spent time at Ziff Davis Media as Research Director at
both the corporate and brand level.

Lilie holds a master’s degree in Communications Research from the Annenberg School for Communication at the
University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature from Brandeis University.
She has spoken at the past two MIXX Conference and Expos, the preeminent event for marketing and agency
professionals and the publishers and technology firms who help drive their efforts. A native of Connecticut, she
lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
